Les Taylor Memorial Golf Tournament

Who is Les Taylor...
         & why name a golf tournament after him?

   Les Taylor, a husband, a father. dentist, loved the game of golf.  His father died when he was eight and he had to work for most everything he had or did.  He worked putting himself through college and worked very hard to put himself thru dental school in Cleveland. He spent two years in the Air Force and then started his dental office.  At this time he was able to play a little golf and he had 7 - "seven holes in one"- during his lifetime.  He loved the game and made a lot of friends on the golf courses.

   He died January 2nd, 2021 and his family would like to honor him by providing this golf tournament for those just starting in the game.   Jr. golf or JAG is a great organization where you can learn and play all summer on some of the best golf courses here in St George.
