Minutes for Sunbrook Estates Property Owners Association (SEPOA)

The annual meeting was called to order by Dawn Geyer at 7:00 PM in the Crystal Lakes Clubhouse.In attendance: Dawn Geyer, Mary Thompson, Suzanne Dixon,
Paul Sheffield - Absent:  Cole Faddis

There was a quorum present.

Dawn Geyer , Vice President, welcomed everyone.

Financial Report was presented by Suzanne Dixon.  $25,000 + in a CD earning interest.  We have moved our money to State Bank of Southern Utah.  All dues for 2024 are current.  There are still a few 2025 dues that are not paid to date.

Election of New Board Members:  There are two (2) Board members up for re-election or renewal.   Mary Thompson, and Wes Chormicle are willing to be re-elected to the Board.  Mary Thompson and Wes Chormicle were approved by acclimation.

 

New business:

• Website is www.riversedgelane.com.  Information can be sent to Annette Taylor to be incorporated into the website.

• Weeds – All owners need to keep up the maintenance of their property.  Letters and fines will be charged to owners who do not maintain their yards.

• Road Repair – Cheryl Hawkins got approval for paving Rivers Edge Lane in the fall of 2025.

• Transfer fee – There was discussion on a newly established transfer fee when a home is sold.  The fee is to be paid in order to keep new owners informed about our HOA and to assure that the Board has their contact information.  If we are able to get this information at closing there will be a transfer fee of $100.  If we do not get the information needed the fee is $200.

    There was discussion of who had jurisdiction over the river.  St George City Parks
     and Recreation owns the river and there is discussion of putting a walk/bike 
     path under Dixie Drive and along the river.  There is more information regarding
     this on the St George City website.

• The HOA Board has decided to include a light dinner after the meeting in the future so that owners may gather and get to know each other better.  We would like to have feedback as to whether this was appreciated by those in attendance.

Adjourn Meeting:  Neil Dixon moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 PM. Suzanne Dixon seconded the motion and the meeting was adjourned.
